Your initial appointment, which will include a comprehensive oral evaluation, will be done at no charge. If you need to receive X-rays at this first appointment, they will also be free.<\/p>\n<p>You will receive a 10% discount on all treatments in our pre- and post- doctoral\u00a0patient treatment centers after this initial visit. Depending on your treatment needs, this could include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Routine cleanings<\/li>\n<li>Fluoride treatment (as needed)<\/li>\n<li>Oral hygiene instruction and follow up<\/li>\n<li>Radiographs (X-rays)<\/li>\n<li>Silver fillings (amalgams) and tooth-colored fillings (composites)<\/li>\n<li>Emergency treatment for relief of pain<\/li>\n<li>Emergency temporary fillings<\/li>\n<li>Veneers and bleaching<\/li>\n<li>Extractions: emergency or routine<\/li>\n<li>Specialty care<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a participant in the SDP, you are financially responsible for the cost of all care you receive. There are various <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/dental\/patients\/finance\/payment\/\">payment methods <\/a>by which you can pay for your discounted treatments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What services are included?
