Health Insurance<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Massachusetts State Law mandates that all full-time students participate in a\u00a0health insurance plan<\/span>. Students are automatically enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) each academic year. The student account is automatically charged for the annual insurance premium in the fall term. Students with comparable health coverage may file a\u00a0Medical Insurance Waiver<\/a>\u00a0via the\u00a0MyBU Student Portal<\/a>.\u00a0 Waivers must be submitted each academic year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students graduating in August who wish to be enrolled from August 15\u2014August 31 may email\u00a0<\/span><\/em>insmed@bu.edu<\/em><\/a>\u00a0to request additional coverage, to be charged at a daily rate. Contact\u00a0insmed@bu.edu<\/a>\u00a0before August 1<\/strong>.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Third Party Sponsorship<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

If all or part of your tuition will be paid by a third party, you must provide a\u00a0sponsorship or financial guarantee letter<\/span><\/a> to\u00a0Student Financials<\/a>\u00a0(studenta@bu.edu<\/a>) <\/span>prior to your payment deadline.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
