Staff Promotions

Dean Jeffrey W. Hutter is pleased to announce the following staff promotions for the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM).

Krista Aronson-Joseph: Ms. Aronson-Joseph began her career at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2011 as a Coordinator in the Department of Continuing Education.  In 2013, she accepted an Administrative Coordinator position in the Office of Clinical Affairs, and was subsequently promoted to Clinical Affairs Manager in 2016. Most recently, Krista was promoted to Assistant Director, in the Office of Clinical Affairs, and will continue to report into Jon Synnott, Director of Clinical Operations. In her new role, Krista will assist the Director of Clinical Operations in providing the leadership necessary for the administrative and supportive functions required to successfully sustain all of the clinical operations activities in the School’s Patient Treatment Centers.

Paul Mallebranche: Mr. Mallebranche began working at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2012 as a Patient Coordinator, for the 5th and 6th Floor Group Practice Clinics, which support the pre-doctoral DMD program. As of November 1, 2017, Mr. Mallebranche has accepted the position of Clinic Coordinator, in the Prosthodontic Treatment Center, within the Department of Restorative Sciences & Biomaterials. Accepting this open position resulted in a promotion for Paul. In his new role, he will be assisting the Administrative Manager, Luz Lebron the Program Director, Dr. Hiroshi Hirayama, and Clinical Director, Dr. Stanislava Misci in managing and overseeing the daily educational and clinical activities.

Bruce Perrin: Mr. Bruce Perrin began his career at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine as a Patient Coordinator supporting the Dental Health Center located on the 7th floor in March 2013. September 2013, Bruce went on to accept a position as a Patient Care Coordinator in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.  Bruce was promoted to Clinical Supervisor effective November 27, 2017, accepting an open position within the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, reporting into Ms. Danielle Tarpley, Administrative Manager. In Bruce’s new role, he is responsible for the daily operations including the supervision of staff at the Pediatric Dental Clinic located at Boston Medical Center under the direction of Dr. Magnolia Venegas, Director, Post-doctoral Pediatric Patient Treatment Center.

 Kara Boucher: Ms. Boucher has been promoted to Assistant Director of Staff Administration & Operations in the Office of the Dean, where she will report into the Director of Staff Administration & Operations, Patrice Freeman-Lau. In Kara’s new role, she is responsible to assist and support the Director with the day-to-day human resources operations at the Goldman School of Dental Medicine. This would include providing guidance, direction and training to the various department managers and supervisors regarding employee relations and employment practices ensuring compliance with federal/state laws and industry regulations, which encompasses the employee lifecycle. Kara began working at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine as an Administrative Assistant in 2012.
