Emily Schweitzer, LCSW, is a Social Work Fellow at the Danielsen Institute. Emily strongly believes that cultivating curiosity and compassion toward oneself can lead to greater freedom, adaptability, and interconnectedness. She enjoys working with individuals, couples, and groups, and has received training in psychodynamic, relational, DBT, and Internal Family Systems approaches. Underlying each modality is an excitement to welcome each client into a collaborative journey that attends to their uniqueness and integrates culture, religion, and spirituality. Emily is also keenly interested in trauma and somatic work and seeks to integrate the felt sense and movement into therapy as an essential part of the healing process. (Somatic credentials: Licensed GYROTONIC® instructor, Pilates Mat instructor, Franklin Method Level 1 Educator).
