  • Outreach and messaging to the BU community.
  • Outreach for new membership and onboarding.
  • Newsletter creation for keeping members updated on DAN’s activities, member spotlights, etc.
  • Driving Q&A and engagement in Teams.

Learning & Professional Growth Committee

  • Facilitating developer groups.
  • Organizing lunch and learns for groups in DAN.
  • Inviting speakers for insightful sessions.
  • Coordinating shared conferences/trainings.

Symposium & Socials Committee

  • Planning the Spring Symposium and soliciting ideas from board members and DAN for content.
  • Organizing quarterly socials for community building.

    DAN is on a mission to de-silo data and analytics at Boston University, providing diverse paths for growth within the university. As we continue to expand, we invite passionate individuals to join our Board and contribute their insights to guide DAN’s evolution.

    Commitment

    • Participation: Be a lead or member of a committee.
    • Time: A half-day board retreat, quarterly board meetings, and a bi-weekly or monthly standing meeting for your committee.
    • Duration: A two-year commitment with options to extend.
