His research interests are in the intersections of culture, globalization and Christianity. Dr. Howell&#8217;s \u00a0books include \u00a0<i>Introduction to Cultural Anthropology: A Christian Perspective<\/i> (Baker Academic, 2011), and <i>Christianity in the Local Context: Southern Baptist in the Philippines<\/i> (Palgrave Macmillan, 2008).<\/p>\n<p><em>This event is co-sponsored by the Frederick S.
