He was previously Director of Cross-National Data and Senior Researcher in religion and world affairs at the Pew Research Center\u2019s Religion &amp; Public Life Project. He is an expert on global religious restrictions and hostilities, as well as international religious demography. He is an affiliated scholar at Boston University\u2019s Institute on Culture, Religion &amp; World Affairs and Georgetown University\u2019s Religious Freedom Project.
