{"id":2957,"date":"2017-03-28T09:42:12","date_gmt":"2017-03-28T13:42:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ctsi\/?p=2957"},"modified":"2017-03-28T09:42:12","modified_gmt":"2017-03-28T13:42:12","slug":"421-pfizer-cti-spring-call-for-proposals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ctsi\/2017\/03\/28\/421-pfizer-cti-spring-call-for-proposals\/","title":{"rendered":"4\/21 Pfizer-CTI Spring Call for Proposals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PFIZER\u2019S CTI REQUESTS PROPOSALS FOR BIOTHERAPEUTIC TARGETS<\/p>\n<h4>Pre-Proposal Deadline: April 21, 2017<\/h4>\n<p>Pfizer\u2019s Centers for Therapeutic Innovation, or CTI, is a unique program that collaborates with leading academic medical centers, the NIH, and foundations to speed the translation of novel targets to the clinic.<\/p>\n<h4>Advantages to Collaborating with CTI<\/h4>\n<p>A partnership with CTI may include collaborative use of Pfizer\u2019s technologies, publishing rights, and financial awards in the form of milestone and royalty payments for successful programs, in addition to providing appropriate funds for carrying out the collaborative work.<\/p>\n<h4>Foundations collaborating with CTI include:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Lupus Research Alliance<\/li>\n<li>Alzheimer\u2019s Drug Discovery Foundation<\/li>\n<li>Crohn\u2019s and Colitis Foundation of America<\/li>\n<li>Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research<\/li>\n<li>Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation<\/li>\n<li>Jeffrey Modell Foundation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Pre-proposal Submission Process<\/h4>\n<p>Submission entails a brief, non-confidential 2-3 page overview of the target, mechanism (including evidence for disease linkage), and the proposed therapeutic drug.
