The goal of T3\/T4 research is to address gaps in knowledge that persist after the efficacy and safety of interventions have been defined in optimal settings. It includes studies designed to encourage the use of these interventions in routine care settings, both locally and globally, and to modify risk factors for disease.<\/p>\n
