CTSA Program Connects Scientists and Communities<\/span><\/a><\/h4>\n

October is Health Literacy Month, a \u201ctime to recognize the importance of making health information easy to understand and the healthcare system easier to navigate.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) Program institutions are working to improve\u00a0health literacy\u00a0to address the CTSA Program\u2019s goal of \u201cengag[ing] patients and communities in every phase of the translational process.\u201d This month, we\u2019re sharing different approaches hubs are taking to improve their communities’\u00a0understanding of health topics.<\/p>\n

CLIC Cohorts for Change Resources<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Cohorts for Change series kicked off\u00a0with the workshop\u00a0\u201cFoundations for Change: Becoming a Culture-Centered Community of Practice<\/em>.\u201d This workshop focused on how to talk about racism and racial equity with radical candor, as well as understand key terms related to racial equity work.\u00a0The workshops are limited to selected participants but topic pages are open to all.<\/p>\n
