One Mind, in collaboration with Janssen Research & Development and the Baszucki Brain Research Fund, is offering up to 2 Rising Star Research Awards in 2020. The goal of the Rising Star Research Awards is to recognize and fund promising, early career investigators through a competitive grants process to accelerate research on neuropsychiatric disorders. One Mind, in collaboration with Inscopix, is also offering up to two supplemental technology grants, each in support of one Rising Star Research Award. \nGrants of $300,000 over three years will be awarded in support of research proposals on any of a wide range of neuropsychiatric conditions. Studies focusing on bipolar disorder are of special interest, including applications that would advance therapeutics ranging from biomarkers to promising therapeutic modalities (e.g., neurostimulation).

\nTo be eligible, candidates should be within ten years of their initial independent appointment as an assistant professor at an academic institution or an equivalent position in industry or other non-academic position.
