About BU CTSI<\/span><\/h2>\n

Established in 2008, the Boston University Clinical and Translational Science Institute (BU CTSI) has emerged as a leader in advancing translational science. Our partner Boston Medical Center Health System (BMCHS), which is comprised of Boston Medical Center, two regional hospitals, 13 community health centers (CHCs) and a health plan, is involved in all aspects of the BU CTSI.\u00a0The Veterans Administration Boston Health System (VABHS), our collaborator, is an essential contributor to the BU CTSI.<\/p>\n

Supported by a Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) from the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) under the National Institutes of Health (NIH), BU CTSI has secured over $113 million in funding to provide essential tools, resources, and services to clinical investigators. This support enhances the impact of discoveries and facilitates the rapid translation of research into improved patient care through collaborative efforts. Guided by a mission to advance translational science and improve health, the BU CTSI focuses on accelerating scientific discoveries that benefit all populations.<\/span><\/p>\n
