As an undergraduate, she conducted research in Dr. Sharon Owino\u2019s laboratory studying orphan G protein-coupled receptor 37 (GPR37) and completed her honors thesis exploring GPR37\u2019s role in regulating hippocampal granule cell neuron maturation.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\" role=\"presentation\">Caroline joined the Boston University CTE Center and the National PTSD Brain Bank in 2025 as a Neuropathology Research Assistant. Her work incorporates histological and molecular techniques to investigate the mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative disease and deepen our understanding of disease processes.
