He obtained his Bachelor\u2019s degree from University of Science and Technology of China in 2010, and PhD degree in space physics at UCLA in 2015. After graduating, he worked with Professor Richard Thorne and Wen Li as a postdoc at UCLA and came to Boston University as a Visiting Research Scientist in November 2016. He became a Research Scientist in 2019 and a Senior Research Scientist in 2022 at Boston University.
