Such gatherings can most especially benefit our students and postdocs as they build connections among their cohorts and with local institutions.<\/p>\n<p>To wit, a gathering was held Saturday April 27, hosted at Boston University.  A program of short informal talks was organized.  These talks aimed more toward introducing and informing about the work that we do, rather than emphasizing research results.  Talks by undergraduate and graduate students were particularly encouraged, as were talks by postdocs.
