He is very interested in all aspects of Health Informatics, especially the implementation, adoption, and use of EHRs. Mitch has worked in the Healthcare IT field since 1994 and he currently works for Nuance Communications Healthcare\u202fDivision. He leads a team who assists customers with integrating the medical context speech recognition SDKs into healthcare\u202fapplications such as\u202fEHRs as well as the natural language processing (NLP) and Clinical Assisted Physician Documentation (CAPD) products. This technology helps reduce the work required of EHR users which gives them more face to face time with their patients. His customers range from small start-up companies to the major EHR vendors, and large healthcare facilities.
