This certificate presents the methods and skills needed for designing and building secure and reliable systems by developing an understanding of the special requirements of health care systems, where privacy of personal data must be balanced with access to patient records.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Summary<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Four courses\/16 credits<\/li>\n<li>Requirements can be fully completed <strong>part time<\/strong> on campus, online or, in the blended format. Applicants are not required to have a degree in Computer Science for entry to a program within our Computer Science department.
