Each attendee has an opportunity to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a baseline plan and assessment of test readiness (are you eligible for the PMP? Maybe the correct path for you is CAPM<\/li>\n<li>A complete review of the processes in PMI\u2019s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)<\/li>\n<li>Mentoring for your personal study strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Student Membership assistance in case you did not acquire the membership during your course of study at Boston University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The first session is face-to-face with online option for distance education students, however, the subsequent sessions are online only. We will be using Zoom. Some of the videos archived from a previous session will be available to you as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Course Session Schedule:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Session 1: Overview and applications\/Initiation Phase<\/li>\n<li>Session 2: Planning\/Execution Phase<\/li>\n<li>Session 3:\u00a0\u00a0Continue Planning\/Execution<\/li>\n<li>Session 4: Monitoring &amp; Controlling<\/li>\n<li>Session 5: Closing &amp; Wrap-Up<\/li>\n<li>Session 6: Exam questions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>* Note: All times are\u00a0Eastern Time Zone &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0 Noon to 1 PM<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Textbook:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PMBOK Guide<\/li>\n<li>Available books on PMP at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\">http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Register by sending an email of interest to the <a href=\"mailto:kanabar@bu.edu\">Professor Kanabar<\/a>. The course is offered twice a year in June and December.<\/p>\n<p>Please Note: This course is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">not<\/span> the same as the paid \u201cPMP Boot Camp\u201d.\u00a0 Professor Kanabar will provide more details of the paid version during his course.
