We\u2019re looking for an entry level Data Services Specialist to join our force.\u00a0 We\u2019d like to find a person with a mind like a sponge, an interest in problem solving, a drive to deliver on time, and a love of logic.\u00a0 This person will have the chance to develop their MySQL skills with help from their peers, a group of budding MySQL gurus.\u00a0 He or she will also be exposed to both the on the ground tactics and the long-term strategies employed by a successful data team.<\/p>\n
This role will require a hybrid skill set of back end data technology and front end customer interaction.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n
\u2022 Own the custom data services side of the data operations team.
\n\u2022 Project manage custom data services requests that come from sales, business development, content, or prduct.
\n\u2022 Complete knowledge of the data team and our products\u2019s capabilities to aid in project planning, pricing, and feasibility assessment
\n\u2022 Use our products as well as backend MySQL tools to deliver customer requests
\n\u2022 Interact with our research and quality vendors to develop new solutions for our customers
\n\u2022 Assist with management of our contact and company database<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n
\u2022 Education\/background in Math, Engineering, Computer Science
\no OR 1-2 years experience working with large data sets
\n\u2022 Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
\n\u2022 Experience with MySQL is preferred, though not required.\u00a0 Interest is required.
\n\u2022 Desire to solve complex problems with a blend of technology and manpower
\n\u2022 Roll-up your sleeves attitude
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree
\n\u2022 Strong communication skills.\u00a0 Experience on the phone is a plus.
\n\u2022 Self starter excited about new projects and a career related to data technology
