Led by Associate Professor and Director of Ph.D. Admissions Emily Whiting, students from our Computational Fabrication class CS581 held their final project demo session on Thursday, April 23, 2026. In this final project, students teamed up to prototype creative, computation-driven designs in which they develop an algorithm for producing physical products. Boston University\u2019s Engineering Product Innovation Center (EPIC) helped our students bring their projects to life!<\/p>\n

Eight student teams presented their final projects:
\n– Support Structure Minimization
\n– Lenticular Lens Fabrication
\n– Custom Parametric Shoe Trees
\n– 3D Strava Route Visualization
\n– Light Sculptures
\n– Digital Low Relief Models
\n– Growing 3D Forms
\n– Modular Desk Organizer Generator<\/p>\n
