Raymond Velez (CAS ’92)

  RaymoScreen Shot 2016-06-09 at 10.26.36 AMnd Velez is the Global Chief TechnologyOfficer for Razorfish, for which he manages web  technology architecture and oversees the  company’s more than 400 technologists  worldwide. Ray received his Bachelor of Arts from Boston University in 1992, having majored in  both Computer Science and Philosophy. Using his 15 years of experience in the technology industry,  Ray applies his expertise in application development on many of Razorfish’s largest client implementations including Citibank, CondeNet, Ford Motor Company, and the National Football League. Ray’s background includes architectural consulting in enterprise systems and strategic IT planning, and he has trained and developed curriculums in various technologies and methodologies including the Rational Unified Process and Agile Methodologies. Prior to Razorfish he served as a senior architectural consultant at Cambridge Technology Partners.

Raymond Velez received the BU Computer Science Distinguished Alumna/Alumnus Award on May 17, 2015.
