  • Starts: 4:00 pm on Thursday, November 4, 2021
  • Ends: 5:30 pm on Thursday, November 4, 2021
Do you have a social sciences research project that requires innovative data science, computational, or AI approaches, but you don’t know where to start? Or are you a data scientist looking to apply your skills to understanding a cutting-edge social issue, but are looking for a collaborator with substantive expertise? At this workshop, representatives from the Faculty for Computing and Data Sciences (Azer Bestavros, Associate Provost, Computing and Data Sciences) and BU Spark! (Ziba Cramer, Director) will provide an overview of how they and their organizations can provide methodological support to your project. Learn about successful collaborations between social and data scientists, and share your ideas with potential future research partners. We will also provide a preview of a Spring ’22 workshop focused on opportunities for classroom and curricular collaborations.
