Catalyst: A UI/UX Designathon

Catalyst is a 1-day, free online designathon hosted by Boston University’s FORGE Design Studios focused on providing the opportunity for students to create UI/UX projects and gain more experience in design. To be held on October 24, from 12-8pm EST! This is the first university-wide designathon at BU, and our aim is to encourage an exploration into the field of design, no matter what you’re studying! Because of this, NO experience is required to participate! Participants will work in a team of 2-3 people (feel free to form your own with friends or join our Slack Channel to find teammates!) to create a design solution to the prompt (to be revealed at the start of the event). It's a designathon, not a hackathon, so no coding is needed to create your project! There are over $190 in prizes for winners, including gift cards to TeaDo, Boston Burger Company, and Oppa Sushi! There will also be industry professionals as guest judges (all BU alumni!). We look forward to seeing you there!
