She received her BA in English (with a minor in the History of Art and a sub-concentration in Creative Writing &#8211; Poetry) from the University of Michigan and her MFA in Creative Writing &#8211; Poetry from Boston University. Her poetry and essays have appeared in <em>The Southern Review<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The Missouri Review<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Cleveland Review of Books<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Image<\/em>, and other publications, and her work has received support from the MacDowell, the Boston Mayor&#8217;s Office of Arts and Culture, the Key West Literary Seminar, and the Writers&#8217; Room of Boston.<\/p>\n<p>She currently works as the administrative coordinator for the Creative Writing Program at Boston University, where she occasionally teaches intro-level creative writing courses and poetry courses.
