Dr. Michelle A. Walsh is an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister who completed her Ph.D. in practical theology with a concentration in pastoral theology and psychology at Boston University. She also holds a<span>\u00a0<\/span><span>M<\/span>aster of Divinity and a<span>\u00a0<\/span><span>M<\/span>aster in<span>\u00a0<\/span><span>S<\/span>ocial<span>\u00a0<\/span><span>W<\/span>ork from Boston University and is a licensed independent clinical social worker. Rev.<span>\u00a0<\/span><span>Dr.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span>Walsh has worked for over 25 years in lay and professional urban ministry and social work and has directed two major mental health clinics. She currently is a Lecturer at the BU School of Social Work and also teaches at\u00a0Meadville Lombard Theological School and Bunker Hill Community College. Michelle continues to expand her practice for activists and\u00a0preaches in UU congregations throughout New England, where she is a honing a message related to climate change. Her research interests<span>\u00a0<\/span><span>have been<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span>in the pastoral and public dimensions of trauma, theology,<span>\u00a0<\/span><span>spirituality,\u00a0<\/span>and lived religion, particularly in the urban context.
