{"id":5856,"date":"2022-11-14T10:38:45","date_gmt":"2022-11-14T15:38:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cpt\/?page_id=5856"},"modified":"2026-05-06T07:45:23","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T11:45:23","slug":"2022-annual-lecture","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cpt\/annual-lectures\/2022-annual-lecture\/","title":{"rendered":"2022 Annual Lecture"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On November 9, 2022, <a href=\"https:\/\/divinity.vanderbilt.edu\/people\/bio\/bonnie-miller-mclemore\">Dr. Bonnie Miller-McLemore<\/a>, <span>Professor Emerita of Religion, Psychology, and Culture at the Divinity School and Graduate Department of Religion of Vanderbilt University, joined the Center for Practical Theology as the speaker for the CPT&#8217;s 15th Annual Lecture.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Miller-McLemore first met with the students and faculty of the School of Theology&#8217;s Ph.D. program in Practical Theology. Her lecture was titled &#8220;Understanding Lived Theology: Is Qualitative Research the Best or Only Way?&#8221; She addressed many topics that are pertinent to the discipline and the shape of the CPT&#8217;s work. This opened space for other attendees to offer their own perspectives and ask questions.
