Installation of ceilings will continue. Painting of the stairs and walls will continue throughout. At the terraces, guardrails, and green roof, materials will continue to be installed.<\/li>\n<li>At the exterior of the building, installation of landscape site features, curbing, and sidewalks continue.<\/li>\n<li>On Sunday, crews will return to the site to continue to install finishes in high-traffic areas such as the ground floor, elevator lobbies, and stairways.<\/li>\n<li>Deliveries for miscellaneous materials will also occur throughout the day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment24465\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment24465\" style=\"width: 487px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cpo\/2022\/10\/21\/center-for-computing-data-sciences-construction-update-10-21-22\/installing-ceiling-finishes-in-the-atrium\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-24465\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/cpo\/files\/2022\/10\/Installing-ceiling-finishes-in-the-atrium-477x636.jpeg\" alt=\"Installing ceiling finishes in the atrium\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-24465\" width=\"477\" height=\"636\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cpo\/files\/2022\/10\/Installing-ceiling-finishes-in-the-atrium-477x636.jpeg 477w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cpo\/files\/2022\/10\/Installing-ceiling-finishes-in-the-atrium.jpeg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 477px) 100vw, 477px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment24465\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Installing ceiling finishes in the atrium<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>During the week of October 24th<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Crews will continue installing finish wall panels and the finish ceiling system around the atrium. Finish material at the stair guardrails continues to be installed.<\/li>\n<li>Installation of finishes will continue throughout, including whiteboards, corner guards, cabinetry, wood and acoustical ceilings, interior glass walls, doors, final paint, polishing concrete floors, office carpet, and plumbing fixtures.<\/li>\n<li>Installation of green roof material and pavers continues on the terraces.<\/li>\n<li>In the 17th-floor event space, crews will be preparing to install wood flooring.<\/li>\n<li>Exterior site work continues on all sides of the building, including preparations for new sidewalks continue along Commonwealth Avenue. Retaining wall, ramp, stair, and planter install continues at the rear of the Bay State Road brownstones. Assembly of the bike shelter will continue in the area between Sargent College and the Center for Computing &amp; Data Sciences.<\/li>\n<li>As the new sidewalks, curbing, and planters along Commonwealth Avenue are being completed, the pedestrian travel path may alternate from the temporary sidewalk in the bike lane to the new sidewalk next to the building. Please be aware of directional signage in the area.<\/li>\n<li>Deliveries and assembly of office furniture will continue, working up the building.<\/li>\n<li>The project will continue utilizing a second shift, from 3 pm to 11 pm, Monday through Friday to advance interior work, accommodate off hour deliveries and material loading, and debris removal.
