Installing electrical conduits to the main electrical room in the tower’s lower level<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

During the weekend of July 24th<\/sup><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • On Saturday, crews will be on site continuing to erect structural steel columns and beams. This work will occur in two shifts, first from 7 am to 3 pm and second from 3 pm to 10 pm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • On Sunday, from 7 am to 6 pm, crews will be working within the core of the tower to remove supports from the concrete operation to allow the steel erection to advance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Installation of \u201cStair A\u201d within the tower\u2019s core<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

      During the week of July 26th<\/sup><\/sup><\/h2>\n
        \n
      • The erection of the building\u2019s structural steel frame will continue. At the tower, erection of the 9th<\/sup> and 10th<\/sup> floors will continue with detailing ongoing on the 8th<\/sup>, 9th<\/sup>, and 10th<\/sup> floors. At the podium, detailing will continue on the 2nd<\/sup> and 3rd<\/sup> floor while the erection of columns and beams progress for the 4th<\/sup> and 5th<\/sup> floors. This work will continue to utilize a second shift from 3 pm to 10 pm to advance the work. Daily, several tractor trailers delivering structural steel are expected to arrive and depart from gate #2, located at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Granby Street.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • In the tower\u2019s core, installation of steel framing will continue through the 18th<\/sup> floor; decking and detailing will follow behind. Concrete placement for the 10th<\/sup>, 11th<\/sup>, and 12th<\/sup> floors is scheduled for Monday and the placement of the 13th<\/sup>, 14th<\/sup>, and 15th<\/sup> floors is scheduled for the end of the week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          • Installation of the building\u2019s stairways will continue to follow the structural steel operation. \u201cStair A\u201d, located within the tower\u2019s core, will continue up through the 8th<\/sup> floor. Installation of \u201cStair B\u201d began in the tower’s subbasement last week and will continue through the 4th<\/sup> floor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              \n
            • Concrete placement for the 4th-floor slab is scheduled for Monday. Final detailing, setting rebar, wire mesh, and sleeves for MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) penetrations will occur in advance of a concrete placement for the tower\u2019s 5th-floor slab that is scheduled for the following week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                \n
              • In the tower\u2019s subbasement, installation of CMU (concrete masonry unit) block walls will be completed and demobilization will begin. Installation of electrical conduit, hangers, piping, and ductwork will also continue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                  \n
                • In the lower level, crews from the MEP subcontractors will continue installing electrical conduit, hangers, and piping for the building systems. Framing metal stud walls and hanging drywall at the tops of walls will continue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                    \n
                  • On the 2nd<\/sup> and 3rd<\/sup> floors of the tower, the layout for MEP piping and conduit will begin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                      \n
                    • In the alley between the Bay State Road brownstones, excavation and installation for the main storm drainage line will continue. As the main line is installed, connections will be made from the rainwater downspouts for each of the brownstones (#178, #180, #182, and #184) to the storm drainage system. Temporarily, the exterior egress path from the rear of the brownstones will be impacted during the day while this activity takes place. The egress path will be restored to a safe and passable condition at the end of each day. Trucking activity will be accessing the site via the alley between 2 Silber Way and 152 \u2013 156 Silber Way. Please be aware of all directional signage in this area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      • In addition to deliveries noted above, other trucking activity to and from the site will be occurring daily with trucks entering and exiting the designated gates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
