Erecting beams for the 6th floor’s framing<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

During the weekend of July 3rd<\/sup><\/h2>\n

  • There will be no work on site this weekend.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    During the week of July 5th<\/sup><\/h2>\n
      \n
    • In recognition of the July 4th<\/sup> holiday, there will be no work on site Monday.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • Erection of the building\u2019s structural steel frame will continue. The tower crane will be utilized in erecting the tower, while the mobile crane will be used on the podium portion of the building. This work will continue on a second shift from 3 pm to 10 pm to advance the work. Two to six tractor trailers delivering structural steel are expected to be arrive and depart from gate #2, located at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Granby Street.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • In the tower\u2019s core, installation of steel framing will continue on the 12th<\/sup> and 13th<\/sup> floors, and decking and detailing will follow behind. A concrete placement for the 7th<\/sup>, 8th<\/sup>, and 9th<\/sup> floors is scheduled for the end of the week.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          • Installation of rebar will begin for the tower\u2019s 2nd\u00a0<\/sup>floor slab with a concrete placement scheduled for the end of the week.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              \n
            • In the tower\u2019s subbasement, installation of concrete block walls and framing for metal stud walls will begin. Installation of electrical conduit, hangers, and piping will also begin.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                \n
              • In the lower level, crews from the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) subcontractors will continue installing electrical conduit, hangers, and piping for the building systems. Framing metal stud walls and hanging drywall at the tops of walls will continue. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                  \n
                • In the alley between the Bay State Road brownstones, excavation and installation for the main storm drainage line will continue. As the main line is installed connections will be made from the rainwater downspouts for each of the brownstones (#178, #180, #182, and #184) to the storm drainage system. Temporarily, the exterior egress path from the rear of the brownstones will be impacted during the day while this activity takes place. The egress path will be restored to a safe and passable condition at the end of each day. Please be aware of all directional signage in the area.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  • The installation of \u201cStair A\u201d within the tower\u2019s core will continue with the focus being on the runs from the 4th<\/sup> to 6th<\/sup>\u00a0floors.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                      \n
                    • In addition to deliveries noted above, other trucking activity to and from the site will be occurring daily with trucks entering and exiting the designated gates.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      • Please be aware of all directional signage, as pedestrian travel paths may be altered. We will continue to provide up-to-date information via these notifications.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
