Questrom School of Business

To address the continued growth in the Questrom School of Business, several spaces in the building were renovated during the summer of 2013.

Reflecting an increase in digitally available information, the Pardee Library was renovated to improve services and study spaces. The reference area was redesigned to provide more individual consulting opportunities with librarians. The consolidation of the library onto the second and third floors created space for new library staff offices on the third floor, and the area was refreshed with upgraded finishes and furniture.

On the fourth floor, the renovation resulted in the addition of new classrooms needed to support the rising number of classes taught at Questrom, as well as opening up space for the Executive MBA Program (EMBA). The Executive Leadership Center (ELC) was consolidated to the west end of the fourth floor, creating a self-contained space devoted to the needs of its corporate clients to enhance the executive experience. The renovation includes 7 offices, 10 breakout rooms, 2 40-seat flat-floor classrooms, and 2 tiered caserooms (1 with 45 seats, 1 with 50). Additionally, 3 tiered classrooms for graduate use (2 with 72 seats, 1 with 45) were created south of the central atrium. Public corridors on the fourth floor also received finish upgrades.

Renovations at the Feld Career Center on the first floor were facilitated by a gift to the Questrom School of Business. Two new rooms were added to complete a six-room interview center at the west end of the building, and two offices were added to the waiting area. The work also included new walls, ceiling/carpet upgrades, and HVAC reconfiguration. Throughout the building, 18 registrar classrooms (1,023 seats) underwent media upgrades plus painting and repairs to carpets and furniture. AV and lighting upgrades to the auditorium at the Questrom School of Business (Room 105) provide appropriate lighting and backgrounds for presentations.
