CFA Renovations – Construction Update – 7/31/20
For the period of July 31st – August 7th:
General:
The west alley entrance will reopen on Monday, August 3rd. The ramp on the east elevation will be closed starting Monday, August 3rd for the next couple of weeks to allow for overhead work to be completed. The center entrance along Commonwealth Avenue will remain open. Temporary signs are posted to help direct you through the first floor.
Exterior:
East Façade
- Limestone patching and wash down will occur.
South Façade
- Masonry punchlist is ongoing.
West Façade
- Limestone wash down will occur.
- Exterior signage is set to begin.
North Façade
- Repairs to the window jambs will continue over the next several weeks.
- Work rebuilding the chimney will continue.
Archways
- Installation of window trim will continue on the archways on the east.
Interior:
On the 1st Level
- Work on the art gallery punchlist will continue.
As a reminder to all, please be aware of all directional signage, as pedestrian travel paths may be altered at both the interior and exterior of the building. Your safety is imperative!
