Warren Professor of the Humanities at Boston University, having formerly been professor of English at Bristol and at Cambridge, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oxford_Professor_of_Poetry\">Professor of Poetry<\/a> at Oxford (2004-2009).
