Pepto Bismol (“Pepto” for short, shown at left in the photo here) ran a small business catching flies and napping in sunbeams before pursuing his doctoral studies at BU. His research focuses on feline representation in Andrew Lloyd Weber musicals.
MiraLax (“Mira,” shown at right) is only a year old but her research on toy location has already won her several grants and head scratches. She entered the Department of Religious Studies in 2021 to research ancient Egyptian worship rituals for cats and their practical applications for modern America.
According to their colleague and housemate Charley Binkow, “They really are silly creatures.”
