Uniting the areas of data science, engineering, medicine, and more, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/articles\/2024\/new-ai-program-could-predict-alzheimers-disease\/\">BU researchers have designed an AI-based computer program<\/a> that could do just that\u2014using speech pattern analysis to predict the likelihood of the disease in the future. From modeling complex biological systems to advancing intelligent infrastructure, human-AI collaboration, and quantum computing, our researchers are using AI to amply convergent discovery across the University, connecting researchers across disciplines to explore the very limits of AI, data science, and computational innovation.<\/p>\n<p>At the center of this effort is the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hic\/\">Rafik B.
