Most COM classrooms are equipped with a PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera system that has microphones and an established camera for a class to host a guest speaker or collaborate virtually. These cameras are installed to face the instructor and mimic a student’s perspective.
If a classroom does not have a camera or microphone already built into the instructor monitor or the ceiling of the classroom, portable webcams and microphones are available to borrow from IT Office 205.
