Duration: Approximately 60 minutes

The Rev. Dr. Robert Allan Hill, the sixth Dean of Marsh Chapel, leads the University in this historic annual service. Rooted in the University’s Methodist origins, the Baccalaureate service is interdenominational and includes participation from President Robert A. Brown and Provost Jean Morrison. Music by Scott Allen Jarrett, the Marsh Chapel Choir, and Majestic Brass accompanies the service. All graduates and their families are welcome.

Worship Services

During this weekend of celebrations, BU offers worship services through Marsh Chapel, the BU Catholic Center, and the BU Hillel.

Catholic Masses

Newman House, the Roman Catholic Center at BU, celebrates two masses during Commencement Weekend. For questions or additional information, contact the Catholic Center at 617-353-3632.

A second mass, open to all graduates and their families and guests, is offered.
