His three previous books also were NYT bestsellers, including the No. 1 NYT bestselling <cite>13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi<\/cite>, which was the basis of the movie, <cite>13 Hours<\/cite>; <cite>Frozen in Time<\/cite>; and <cite>Lost in Shangri-La<\/cite>, which received the Winship\/PEN New England Award. Zuckoff is a former special projects reporter at the <cite>Boston Globe<\/cite>, where he was a Pulitzer Prize finalist for investigative reporting as a member of the Globe Spotlight Team. His honors include the Distinguished Writing Award from the American Society of Newspaper Editors, the Livingston Award for International Reporting, the Heywood Broun Award, and the Associated Press Managing Editors\u2019 Public Service Award. Zuckoff has written for <cite>The New Yorker<\/cite>, <cite>The New York Times<\/cite>, and numerous other publications.
