Today, COM is striving to support students, improve recruitment, and ensure equity in expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are supporting students with coaching, mentoring, and regular meetings with the dean. Students are serving on COM\u2019s DEI Committee alongside faculty and staff, and we\u2019ve created a DEI alumni advisory board. We are monitoring our progress through an annual survey to understand student opinions and feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are taking clear steps to improve our recruitment of diverse faculty and staff by applying best practices for inclusive recruiting.&nbsp;We also are working to ensure equity<strong> <\/strong>in our operations and among our team, whether that is in annual compensation or for service activities.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"featured-content-card layout-3-cards grey-right-background\">\n\t<div class=\"featured-content-card__container\">\n\t\t<div
