Production is a large part of the Film and Television Department here at COM. Below is a list of resources that are important to familiarize yourself with prior to and concurrently with production courses taken in the FTV Department. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
For questions regarding equipment, please refer to the Technical Operations website <\/a>or contact Field Production Services (comhelp@bu.edu<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n This handbook <\/a>lays the groundwork for students on topics including safety, insurance, permissions, and proper procedures for production. Familiarizing yourself with it can help ensure projects are legal, safe, and well-organized. You will also find key resources and contacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Film and Television Students may submit open casting calls for projects here<\/a>. Requests should include dates of shoot, the number of people to be present at shoot, and either a preferred space or description of preferred layout.
