Students come away with experience and confidence in their abilities to produce content on state government and politics in a challenging, deadline environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the largest news operation in the Massachusetts Statehouse, the program typically produces more than 100 byline pieces a semester along with blogs, radio reports and video packages. By semester\u2019s end students have byline clips, including many front-page displays, along with a multimedia content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Statehouse Program alumni have gone on to the Associated Press, <em>Bloomberg News<\/em>, <em>Boston Globe<\/em>, Boston.com, the <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em>, the <em>Lowell Sun<\/em> and the <em>Eagle-Tribune<\/em>, the <em>Brockton Enterprise<\/em>, State House News Service and a range of smaller suburban dailies and weeklies in Massachusetts.
