He\u2019s also the recipient of the Grand Prize for Screenwriting at Slamdance. Andrew\u2019s multi-cultural origins have fueled a prolific genre-fluid approach to storytelling, a personal ethos most recently explored in the short dance film \u201cBecoming\u201d, which he directed in collaboration with The Getty Center and Sony.
