The State of Massachusetts does not have enough money invested into its tourism sector, and MVIC wanted to alert key audiences to the importance of tourism for the state.<\/p><\/aside>\n<aside class=\"callout-checklistitem primary col-sm-full blue\"><h3 class=\"checklist-title\">Solution<\/h3><p>The PRLab team created three social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) for MVIC. They revamped the organizations&#8217;s website and and made it more user-friendly and accessible. Additionally, the team created a series of informative and catchy infographics to be utilized bY MVIC with facts about Massachusetts tourism. Finally, they helped promote a fundraiser hosted by MVIC for Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker.<\/p><\/aside>\n<aside class=\"callout-checklistitem primary col-sm-full blue\"><h3 class=\"checklist-title\">Results<\/h3><p>After just fore months, the PTLab team developed and sustained a very active social media presence, thus gaining the attention of notable state legislators like State Senator Eric Lesser. Trough the team;s efforts, MVIC&#8217;s website&#8217;s SEO increased. The organization went from being the last hit on the first page of a Google search to the fist hit.
