{"id":802,"date":"2012-05-22T14:56:55","date_gmt":"2012-05-22T19:56:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/com\/?p=802"},"modified":"2015-02-24T14:59:56","modified_gmt":"2015-02-24T19:59:56","slug":"ivellisse-morales-wins-pr-award","status":"publish","type":"bu-article","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/com\/articles\/ivellisse-morales-wins-pr-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Ivellisse Morales wins PR award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Boston University\u2019s College of Communication has named <strong>Ivellisse Morales (&#8217;12)<\/strong> of Ansonia, Conn., as the 2012 recipient of the Gerald Powers Public Relations Award, given to a graduating senior who has done outstanding work in the field of public relations.<\/p>\n<p>The $2,500 annual award, granted each spring at the discretion of the dean and a faculty committee, was established in 1999 as a tribute to <strong>Prof. Emeritus Gerald Powers<\/strong>, who joined the faculty in 1964.
