{"id":39044,"date":"2024-05-16T17:31:47","date_gmt":"2024-05-16T21:31:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/com\/?post_type=bu-article&#038;p=39044"},"modified":"2024-05-16T17:31:48","modified_gmt":"2024-05-16T21:31:48","slug":"com-honors-17-outstanding-seniors-with-blue-chip-award","status":"publish","type":"bu-article","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/com\/articles\/com-honors-17-outstanding-seniors-with-blue-chip-award\/","title":{"rendered":"COM Honors 17 Outstanding Seniors With Blue Chip Award"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Seventeen seniors were presented today with a 2024 Blue Chip Award, the most prestigious student honor for undergraduate students in Boston University\u2019s College of Communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRecognizing our Blue Chip Award winners at the COM Awards and Reception is my favorite event each year,\u201d said COM Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs William Taylor. \u201cI am amazed to hear the stories about the many remarkable accomplishments of these incredible undergraduate students.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Blue Chip Award recipients are leaders who are accomplished in the classroom and thrive in professional internships,\u201d he added. \u201cThey are among our best, most engaged, and hardest working students. They are simply amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students self-nominate for the award with recommendation letters from faculty and internship advisors.
