Sports communication remains a male-dominated field, and while more women continue to break into it, they can still face unique and often daunting challenges. But increasingly, women — including many from Boston University’s College of Communication — are forging new paths and finding success in sports-related journalism, television, business, advertising, and public relations. What does the future hold for women just now entering the field? What lessons might they learn?
