Rotate Your Closet Team Wins Top Prize at the Adlabbies
COM students behind a campaign for Rotate Your Closet, a peer-to-peer social clothing rental platform, took home the top prize Monday for the fall Adlabbies, the semi-annual awards showcasing the best work by students in AdLab, the country’s largest student-run ad agency.
The Grandlabbie award was presented by former AdLab client Gavin Blawie of Remarkable Digital, whose team won the award last year.
“Students stepped up and delivered amazing work and were honored for their efforts and talent,” said Shawn Zupp, professor of the practice in advertising and AdLab’s faculty advisor . “Whether it’s a big brand or a start-up business, Adlabbers demonstrated they could deliver great advertising strategy and creativity. The energy at the event was absolutely electric, and we hope to carry that into 2024.”
COM also honored Boston ad agency CommCreative for their partnership with AdLab for the past three semesters on projects with brands like Raymarine, Carpetone, and most recently, Bose. Partner Joanna Bittle and Executive Creative Director Keith Caruso were at the ceremony to receive the Outstanding Client Partnership award.
