National Geographic, MarketBridge Team Wins Top Honor at AdLabbies

A team of advertising students working on a campaign for National Geographic, a non-profit scientific and educational organization, and MarketBridge, a marketing agency, won the top prize at the AdLabbies, the semi-annual awards ceremony honoring students in AdLab, the student-run advertising agency in COM.

“The fall 2024 Adlabbers showed up to the AdLabbies with an impressive array of work, including dynamic short/long form videos, for clients ranging from small startups like Primi Pasta to regional causes like Project Bread to global behemoths like Capital One,” said Senior Lecturer Chris Lee, AdLab co-faculty adviser. “True examples of creating work that resonates.”

Professor of the Practice Shawn Zupp, AdLab co-faculty advisor, added that “both the honored student nominees and actual student AdLabbie winners were truly deserving not only for the work they created but in the way they actually worked: collaborative, cross-functional and dedicated.”

Along with honoring students, Michelle Deng, from MassDOT, attended the ceremony to receive the Outstanding Client Partnership Award.
