She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oregon, majoring in Comparative Literature and Classics. Their senior thesis was entitled \u201cUnseen and Unsung Heroines: Emotional Labor in Ovid\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><i data-ogsc=\"\">Heroides<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/i><span>I and VII\u201d.
