The Universe and Everything

The Universe and everything,
A tear-drop, falls
From the eye of god
Faster than light
And shatters,
All this shatters,
Reflecting light,
Variously,
And finally
Forms a pool in the palm of my hand,
Attached to arm extended
Off the edge of the bed
While you smile at me
Eyes, naked, perfect, warm.
