In addition, the officers of the City Planning and Urban Affairs<span> student association (the<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cityplanning\/people\/students\/student-association\/\"><span>Urban Planning <\/span>Association<\/a><span>) <\/span>are also available for Peer Advising. Prospective students should feel free to consult with the Student Association as they consider applying to or accepting admission to the program. In addition, the program also posts current job and internship openings, program-related events and news<span>,<\/span> and other information on <span>its <\/span>social media sites and via email. Generally, one to two assistantships are available per semester, with awards <span>ranging <\/span>from $2<span>,<\/span>000 to $4<span>,<\/span>000, depending on the hours of commitment. Selections for graduate assistants are made based on merit, financial need, and student qualifications. Please contact the department for further information.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from Graduate Assistantships available via the <span>department<\/span>, the Metropolitan College Graduate Financial Aid office also offers comprehensive financial aid services to graduate students. They assist students in financing their education through <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/met\/admissions\/financial-aid-scholarships\/graduate-assistantships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Assistantships<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/met\/admissions\/financial-aid-scholarships\/loans\/stafford-loans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Federal Stafford Loan<\/a>, or the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/met\/admissions\/financial-aid-scholarships\/loans\/graduate-plus-loans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Graduate Plus Loan<\/a>.
